Evan Misshula is the Statistical Research Associate of the Research Network on Misdemeanor Justice. He was previously the Project Director of the Tech Talent Pipeline Residency @ Queens College. He has taught Data Mining, Network Security and Advanced Data Structures at CUNY John Jay. In 2013, Mr. Misshula was a fellow at Data Science for Social Good at the University of Chicago. He has previously served as CUNY Graduate Center Digital Fellow and attended the Data Science Summer Institute at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as fellow. He has previously won both a CUNY Graduate Center Provost’s Digital Innovation Grant and support from CUNY Advanced Research Collaborative. His is currently writing his dissertation which is a longitudinal examination of the homogeneity of victimization of networks of men at high risk of involvement in shootings in NYC.
