Jacqueline Scott

Graduate Research Assistant

Jackie Scott is a Graduate Research Assistant on the Research Network on Misdemeanor Justice as part of the Misdemeanor Justice Project. Jackie is originally from Alberta, Canada. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Lethbridge and her master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Edinburgh. Jackie then spent seven years working as a crime analyst for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police before joining John Jay College’s PhD program in 2015. Her current research interests include punitiveness, prisons and reentry.
